B. Voc. Degree in Food Science and Technology

B. Voc. Degree in Food Science and Technology is affiliated with Panjab University, Chandigarh.

The B. Voc. degree programme is a full time degree course.

Candidate will be eligible to receive Diploma after first 2 semesters and Advance Diploma after 4 semesters and for Degree after six semesters according to guidelines of UGC.

No candidate will be allowed to join any other course or service simultaneously.

There shall be an examination at the end of each semester.

General educational Credits for Diploma: 24 and Skill Component Credits: 36

General educational Credits for Advance Diploma: 48 and Skill Component Credits: 72

General educational Credits for Degree72: and Skill Component Credits: 108

The Skill component of the course are assessed and certified by the respective Sector Skill Councils.

Candidate to the admission of bachelor of vocational - Food Science and Technology (B. Voc. - FST) must have passed standard 10+2 or equivalent.

The duration of the course is of three full time academic years and is divided into six semesters.
