A six day workshop on “Research Awareness and Research Methodology” is underway in DAV College. Principal Dr. Pawan Sharma inaugurating the workshop highlighted the importance of education and research. Citing the Upanishads he mentioned that education that helps in overpowering ego and seeing the unseen is real. Dr. Neelam Sharma, retired director, Punjab State Council for Science and Technology addressed the students on various research areas available for students. Dr Prince Sharma and Dr Neena Caplash , from Panjab University shared the art of writing research proposal and made the students aware about the basic tenets of scientific writing. Dean Research, Dr. Praneet Rangi describing it as a one of its kind initiative said that it aims at honing the skills of budding researchers.
