Navsankalp Association, a student run organisation based in Chandigarh, organised its fund raising plenary session at DAV College Chandigarh today. The organisation which originated from the noble endeavours of DAV College students has now spread through the tricity, with more than 2000 registered members. It makes judicious donations to critically ill children below the age of 17 admitted in PGIMER and GMSH-16, whose families can not afford to pay for their treatment. Till date Navsankalp has saved about 175 lives by contributing a sum of about 70 lacs. Since majority of the students working in the Association hail from DAV College Chandigarh, it's natural for the NGO to seek its inspiration from the college and its teachers
